Conflicts between crop farmers and pastoralists have become a common feature of economic livelihood in West Africa. The study assessed the demographic implications farmers-pastoralists conflict Benue North-West, Nigeria. adopted cross-sectional survey design sample 120 respondents was purposively selected from three LGAs mostly affected by pastoralists’ attacks. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, key informant interview field observations analyzed descriptive statistics (frequency, percentages mean). its course found that availability evergreen arable land (3,27), competition over available lands (3.0), damage to crops (3.12) proliferation cheap small arms light weapons (2.52) are major causes area. also revealed has both short long term implication on communities. recommended sustainable measures towards addressing
